Today was Lily's birthday. Mia, Carlos, and Juan knew they wanted to do something special for her.
Mia said, 'Let's make a big card with our drawings!' They all thought it was a great idea.
They gathered paper, crayons, and stickers. Mia drew a bright sun, Carlos a happy dog, and Juan a beautiful tree.
When it was time to write wishes, Carlos whispered, 'I need help. I find writing hard.'
Mia smiled. 'Don't worry! We can help each other. Teamwork makes the dream work!'
They each wrote one word at a time. 'Happy...' wrote Mia. 'Birth...' wrote Juan. 'Day!' Carlos finished with a big smile.
The card looked wonderful, but they wanted to do more. 'How about a surprise party?' suggested Juan.
They all loved the idea but realized they didn't have much time. 'We can split the tasks!' they decided together.
Mia would get balloons, Carlos would make a cake, and Juan would find party games for everyone to play.
They worked together and set everything up. The classroom looked festive with all the colorful decorations.
Finally, Lily walked in. 'Surprise!' everyone shouted. Lily's face lit up with joy when she saw the party.
Lily hugged her friends. 'Thank you! This is the best birthday ever because I have amazing friends like you!'
