Aria, a little Inuit girl, lived in a cozy igloo with her grandma, Inuk.
One night, Aria asked, 'Grandma, what makes the sky dance with colorful lights?' 'Those are our ancestors, dancing with delight,' replied Grandma Inuk.
Aria imagined the aurora as a magical, shimmering ribbon, twirling and swirling across the sky, 'Whoosh, twinkle, twirl!'
But the next night, the lights did not appear. Aria was worried. 'Where are our ancestors?' she asked with a frown.
Inuk hugged Aria and whispered, 'Sometimes our ancestors take a rest, but they'll dance again when they're ready.'
Aria fell asleep, dreaming of the shimmering lights, and the next night, the aurora painted the sky with their vivid, joyful dance.
From then on, Aria knew that the aurora's dance was a promise of love from their ancestors, forever shining brightly in the night.
