In a leafy green forest, where the flowers bloom so bright, there lived a cute bear who loved honey with all his might.
Every morning, the bear would think, 'Oh my, honey is what I seek.' With a gleam in his eye, he'd climb a tree so high, to get that golden treat.
One sunny day, as the bear was munching on his honey hive, a cheeky monkey swung by, ready for a jive.
The monkey's eyes grew wide with glee, 'I can climb better than Mr. Bear, you’ll see!' he said with a funny flair.
'Oh really?' said the bear with a giggle, 'Let’s see you climb without a wiggle!' and down he slid with a carefree swiggle.
The monkey swished and swayed, his tail twirled and twisted, up the tree, he spiraled like he had a trump card.
Reaching the top, he grabbed the honey, and said, 'This will be so yummy!' But the bees had a different story, their buzzing filled the air so sunny.
'Buzz, buzz!' went the bees around, the monkey’s smile turned upsidedown. He jumped and yelped to the ground, honey dripped all around.
He landed with a sticky splat, covered in honey and quite a spat. The bear chuckled and gave a pat, 'Looks like a sticky situation, what do you think of that?'
'You’re right!' said the monkey with a sly, 'Maybe you’re the honey king, not I.' And they laughed under the clear blue sky.
So they decided together, as friends, they’d be better, sharing honey forever and ever.
And from that day in the forest bright, bear and monkey shared every bite, their friendship a delight.
