Bob's Quest for a Pal

Bob floated high in the sky, under a blanket of stars and moon so shy. He wore his big cowboy hat, hoping to find someone for a friendly chat.

A cute ghost with a cowboy hat floating in the night sky under a moon.

He whooshed and swooshed through the air, with a grin so wide, he had no care. Bob saw a tree and gave a hoot, 'Maybe here I'll find a hoot-hoot!'

A ghost floating happily toward a tall tree at night.

Up he went, high in the tree, where he met an owl named Loni Lee. Loni swooped and fluffed her wings, 'A ghost in a cowboy hat? What funny things!'

A ghost meeting an owl in a tall tree, the owl fluffing its wings curiously.

They chatted and chattered till dawn light called, but Loni had chores, 'I'm a bit stalled.' Bob waved goodbye with a gentle sigh, then took to the air, saying, 'Oh my!'

The ghost and owl parting ways at dawn with the ghost sighing gently.

Zooming along, he came to a lake, the water shimmering like crystal cake. By the shore he met a frog, leaping and ribbiting on a log.

A ghost near a shimmering lake meeting a frog on a log.

The frog named Jumpy hopped on by, 'Hello there, Bob! You're quite spry!' They bounced and danced in froggy style, till Jumpy had to go, 'Just for a while.'

The ghost and frog bouncing and dancing merrily near a lake.

Bob waved and floated on his way, hoping to find another to play. He drifted past fields full of blooming flowers and landed by a stream to rest for hours.

The ghost floating past fields of blooming flowers and resting by a stream.

Along came a bunny, fluffy and sweet. 'Hello!' said Bob, 'How do you do, Pete?' Pete twitched his nose and hopped with glee, 'You look funny, cap and all, whee!'

A ghost meeting a fluffy bunny near a flowing stream.

They played hide and seek between the trees. 'Oh, this is fun!' Bob said with ease. They laughed and giggled, the day went fast, but Pete had to go, 'Thanks, it was a blast!'

The ghost and bunny playing hide and seek and laughing joyfully.

Then, Bob saw a shadow 'neath the willow tree. 'Who are you?' he asked with glee. Out came a critter, soft as can be, 'I'm just like you, can we be we?'

A ghost discovering a shadowy figure under a willow tree.

Her name was Bella, a ghostly sprite, in her tiny hat, she was quite a sight. Two hats, two smiles, 'What a wonderful match,' Bob thought, 'This really is such!'

The ghost meets another ghost under the tree, both smiling widely.

And so they floated, side by side, in fields so wide, over hills they'd glide. As they whooshed and swooshed, they'd never feel alone, in the big, wide world they made their home.

Two ghost friends floating over fields and hills, happy together.
