Benny peered out from his tent, the forest looming large. 'Time for adventure', he whispered.
He packed his rucksack with treats and a map. 'Never know what's out there!', he grinned.
A rustle in the bushes, a small deer appeared. Benny stared in awe at the gentle eyes.
The deer darted away and Benny followed swift, deeper into the forest of endless mist.
Ancient trees whispered secrets of the wood, Benny listened, wishing he could understand.
He came across a brook, its waters clear. He reached down, quenching his thirst with care.
Strange footprints by the bank caught his eye. 'A creature's path!', he exclaimed with a spy's sly.
The path led to a clearing, a misty glade. A shadow lurked, in the sunlight's fade.
'Who's there?' Benny called, courage in his chest. A fox emerged, on a secret quest.
The fox spoke of the forest's plight, a darkness growing, stealing the light.
Benny faced the darkness with heart so brave, his light shone forth, the forest to save.
