Carlton the Cat sat in his hat, pondering what to view. Cartoons or shows? Who really knows? Both are fun, it's true!
"Cartoons are jazzy, colorful, fun!" said Carlton with a cheer. "But TV shows, they have their glow, with stories far and near."
Up popped Polly Parrot, wise and old. "Why don’t you give both a try?" she told him in a chirp of gold. "You don't know till you spy!"
Carlton zapped the remote, switching quick as a sneeze. First a cartoon, then a show, making decisions with ease.
Cartoons were bouncing, bop, flip, and boom! Serious shows had mysteries, and zoom.
But then here came Sammy Squirrel, coming with a hurry. "Try some popcorn, relax and swirl. No need to make a flurry."
Crunch munch, munch crunch, Carlton chewed his snack. He watched toons with a giggle, shows with his ears flat back.
Flips and quips, zings and zaps, both had tales to tell. Cartoons were wacky, shows were snappy, and all of them were swell.
Carlton danced with happy feet, Polly chirped a song. Sammy sang a merry beat, laughing all day long.
"The choice is clear," wise Carlton said, his whiskers in a flick. "Watch both, my friends, from start till end, it's the perfect mix!"
They watched till the stars came out, under the moonlit sky. Cartoons or shows, who really knows? Both friends made time fly.
And in the end, their choice was made, without a single doubt. Cartoons and shows, as everyone knows, make your heart leap out!
