One day, our science teacher told us about a big problem on Earth. She said that growing crops in special greenhouses on Mars could help us in the future. But there was a challenge! We needed to create robots that could work in these greenhouses and help us figure out all the motions and math involved. Grace and I were super excited! We knew this was going to be a great adventure full of problem-solving, learning, and maybe even some funny moments. Un día, nuestro profesor de ciencias nos habló de un gran problema en la Tierra. First, we had to brainstorm what our robots could do. We wanted them to help us with everything we needed for growing crops. So, we imagined robots that could water the plants, move pots around, and even spread the right amount of plant food. Wow, we had so many ideas! But, we also needed to learn about fractions. Our teacher said fractions were essential for calculating the right amount of water, plant food, and the distance the robot needed to move. This was a little tricky, but Grace and I were determined learners. Primero, tuvimos que pensar en lo que podrían hacer nuestros robots.
