Once upon a time, there was a little boy named Charlie who worked as a candy seller in a big department store. He loved his job because he got to be around colorful sweets all day long. Halloween was just around the corner, and Charlie had a brilliant idea. He wanted to dress up as a spooky Halloween ghost!
Every night after work, Charlie would go to his room and read books about ghosts. He loved learning all about them and how they could fly and scare people. He even practiced saying 'Boo!' in front of his mirror to get the perfect ghostly sound. Charlie was determined to have the best Halloween costume ever!
On the day before Halloween, Charlie went to a special store to buy the materials he needed for his ghost costume. He picked out a long white bedsheet and asked his mom to help him cut holes for the eyes and mouth. Charlie was so excited to see his costume come to life!
When Halloween finally arrived, Charlie put on his ghost costume and looked at himself in the mirror. He couldn't stop giggling because he looked so silly and spooky at the same time. Charlie went trick-or-treating with his friends, and everyone loved his ghost costume. He even gave out his special candy to all the kids he met along the way.
