Once upon a tick-tock time, in a land so fair yet not so fine, lived a girl named Cinderella with a heart that shone like sunshine.
Cinderella puffed and brushed, scrubbed and rushed, while her stepsisters sneered and sneered, every single day.
Oh, poor Cinder-smelly-ra, stuck in soot and slipper-less! She dreamed of starry skies, twirlies, and twinklies.
On one bippity-boppity night, as the midnight moon rose high and bright, a fairy, with wings of gossamer and a glimmering grin, appeared!
‘Fiddle-faddle!’ said the fairy, in a voice that chimed like a tinkling bell, ‘We’ll bring your wishes true with a zip and a zap, and perhaps even a snazzy new cap!’
Swish! With a swoop, the pumpkin carriage appeared, gleaming and beaming, ready for racing to the grand ball hall!
Cinderella laughed with delight, her dress a twinkle-twinkle sight, sparkling with the colors of dreams and moonbeams.
With fizzy shoes of gleaming glass, she dashed, she dashed, she dashed, laughing all the way to dance and prance.
At the ball, oh at the ball, she danced with joy and grace, her heart a happy place!
But! As every clock would chime, ‘Dong, dong!’ warned the midnight time. Off she ran with a clatter and clink, losing a slipper with a blink!
Once home, back in old rags, she giggled gleefully, remembering the magic of her night, no longer in a lag.
The slipper fit just right — oh what a night, as a kind prince came knocking, promising love and delight!
