Once upon a time, in a magical land where the sun would giggle and the wind would hum sweet tunes, there lived a small, fluffy cloud named Cumulo. He floated over green hills and sparkly rivers, watching the ground below.
Cumulo had a big dream. He wanted to make the most wonderful, squishy, and perfect mud that anyone had ever seen. But there was a problem — Cumulo didn’t know how to make rain just yet!
All the older clouds would tell him, 'Cumulo, you must learn to make gentle rain first. Without rain, there can be no mud.' But Cumulo was impatient and didn't want to wait.
One day, Cumulo saw his chance. The sun was shining brightly, and the ground was warm and dry. 'This is perfect!' he thought. 'I'll make mud now!' So, he puffed and puffed, trying to squeeze rain out.
But instead of rain, Cumulo made a misty drizzle that only made the dirt damp. 'Oh no!' cried Cumulo. 'This isn’t right! My mud is just... dirt soup!'
The wise old cloud, Nimbus, floated over and chuckled. 'Remember the saying, Cumulo? “Fé pa la bou avan la pli.” It means you can't have mud before the rain. You must learn patience.'
Cumulo felt a little sad but knew Nimbus was right. So, he watched and learned how to make the best, gentlest raindrops. And one day, he finally did it! His rain made the most glorious mud that ever was!
