Once upon a time, a brave young shepherd named David lived. He loved tending to his sheep while playing his golden harp.
One day, David's father asked him to bring food to his older brothers who were soldiers in King Saul's army.
When David arrived at the army camp, he saw a giant named Goliath. Goliath challenged the Israelites to send someone to fight him.
David bravely volunteered to fight Goliath. He picked up five smooth stones and his trusty slingshot.
Using his slingshot, David aimed at Goliath's head and let go of a stone. The stone hit Goliath, and he fell to the ground.
The Israelites cheered as David defeated the giant. King Saul praised David for his bravery and made him a commander in his army.
David's courage and trust in God showed that even the smallest can conquer the biggest challenges.
And so, David became a great king and was loved by the people of Israel forever.
