Dino the dinosaur was nervous. Today was his first day at a new school. Dino el dinosaurio estaba nervioso. Hoy era su primer día en una nueva escuela.

He had a big backpack and his shiniest scales. 'You'll make friends!' mom said. Tenía una mochila grande y sus escamas más brillantes. '¡Harás amigos!' mamá dijo.

On the bus, Dino found a seat by a window and watched the trees go by. En el autobús, Dino encontró un asiento junto a una ventana y observó pasar los árboles.

Dino entered a big building. Other dinos were laughing and playing together. Dino entró en un gran edificio. Otros dinosaurios reían y jugaban juntos.

In the classroom, a friendly dino waved. 'Hi! I'm Tara. Who are you?' En el salón de clases, un amigable dinosaurio saludó. '¡Hola! Soy Tara. ¿Quién eres?'

Dino felt less nervous now. At lunch, he shared his food with others. Dino se sintió menos nervioso ahora. Durante el almuerzo compartía su comida con los demás.

They played games and Dino forgot he was worried. Laughing felt good! Jugaron y Dino olvidó que estaba preocupado. ¡Reír se sintió bien!

On the way home, Dino was smiling. 'School is fun!' he thought happily. De camino a casa, Dino sonreía. '¡La escuela es divertida!' pensó felizmente.
