In the land of Whimsywood, under skies so blue, lived a happy hippo and an elephant, too. They wandered and wondered, through fields and trees, laughing and splashing wherever they'd please.
One sunny morning, with a hop and a groan, a horse named Harry came munching a cone. He saw Hippo waddling, with Elephant near. He snorted and jeered, 'Why are you here?'
'Hippos don't belong here, big and slow. You’re too heavy, don’t you know!' said Harry, with a smirk and a sneer, making Hippo wish they could just disappear.
Hippo's head hung low, sadness began to show. But Elephant said, 'Let's go to the grove, in the forest where the kind creatures rove.'
In the cozy grove, under leaves so green, a mischievous monkey and a sly fox were seen. Swinging and giggling, they pointed in jest, 'Why so gloomy, Hippo? You look quite distressed!'
With teardrops falling, like rain from the sky, Hippo began to cry a woeful sigh. Monkey and Fox laughed loud and clear, making Elephant’s grey eyes ruffle in cheerless fear.
But wise Elephant trumpeted strong and true, 'Hippo, dear friend, I believe in you!' They swayed and they sang, 'We are bold, we are great!' They danced and they twirled, changing Hippo's fate.
With each step they took and each beat they grooved, Hippo's spirits lifted, their sadness removed. With a heart full of courage, they faced Monkey and Fox. 'Stop your laughing, it’s time to talk!'
Monkey and Fox, with guilty looks on their face, stopped and listened, feeling a bit out of place. 'We didn't mean harm, we’re sorry indeed. Can you forgive us, from this guilt, be freed?'
Hippo, feeling stronger, gave a big smile. 'Friends again? Let’s walk for a while!' And so, hand in hand, they wandered all day. Through Whimsywood fields, their worries at bay.
Through laughter and song, they found their true might. Hippo held their head high, their future so bright. For in Whimsywood land, under skies so blue, friends stick together, and that's how they grew.
And from that day forward, Hippo was sure, no more feeling blue, no more insecure. For inside their heart, a strength would abide, with Elephant and friends always by their side.
