Our first grade St. Stans Catholic School is playing in a state wide Fortnite tournament in Indiana.

Our star video game player is Isla.

A young very skilled 1st grader named Jose hacks into her Fortnite account and changes all settings.

When the tournament starts Isla notices something is terribly wrong: When she presses forward her character moves backwards, when she presses jump her character crawls on the ground, etc.

One of her teammates, Dominic, helps her figure out that her account got hacked and helps her get all her settings and buttons corrected.

Isla pulls off a close victory in the tournament.

Afterwards, Dominic explains basic password security and best practices.

Isla updates her password and learns that simple passwords are easy to remember but are also easy for hackers to figure out.
