In a quaint countryside where streams giggle and birds chirp, lived a boy named Jack. Oh, Jack was rather greedy, slick as a eel and speedy. His pockets were always overflowing, wanting more, never slowing.
Jack's days were filled with gimme and grab, never knowing he was making his life drab. His parents would say, 'Jack, be kind! Share and find, a heart unbind.'
But Jack's ears were filled with want and wail, like a boat to a greedy sail. He'd pluck the juiciest berries, and snag the softest cherries.
One bright and sunny morn, with a moo and a horn, came Karma the cow, saying, 'Wow!' A talking cow indeed, who'd come to plant a seed.
'Jack, dear Jack, heed my moo. Take too much, you'll lose it too,' she said with a wink, and Jack didn't even blink.
But Jack kept on his greedy spree, ignoring the cow's wise decree. He'd hoard the best snacks and munch, with a crunch, crunch, crunch.
One hush night, a lesson deep and tight. Jack dreamt of a world so still, as empty as a misplaced bill.
He woke to find his things all gone, like fog at the break of dawn. In their place, a single note, from Karma the cow, she wrote, 'Give and you shall live!'
Jack hurried to find his friends, to make amends and new trends. He'd play and share, with tender care, a better way to spend his day.
Karma the cow watched from a hill, seeing Jack's heart fill. 'See?' she mooed with glee, 'Now you're as happy as can be.'
From then on, Jack was known, no longer greedy, his heart had grown. He'd learned his lesson, loud and strong, that sharing makes life a beautiful song.
In the end, by the brook with a babble, lived Jack, content and able. Karma's moo echoed true, 'A kind heart is the greatest clue!'
