Keroppi hops to Penelope's house. They play with toys in the backyard.
They see a bird in a nest. 'Look!' says Penelope, 'That bird can fly.'
They run to the park. 'Swing higher!' shouts Penelope. Keroppi swings bravely.
At the pond, they spot a frog. 'Keroppi, you look like that frog!' Penelope giggles.
They find a key. 'Let's find the lock!' says Keroppi. They search around the pond.
Penelope spots a sign. 'Stop here,' she reads aloud. 'It's for safety, Keroppi.'
They return home. 'That was a great adventure,' says Keroppi. Penelope nods in agreement.
Keroppi visits again. 'Let's read,' suggests Penelope. They pick a book with colorful pictures.
They learn to read new words, like 'frog' and 'pond.' 'I like learning,' says Penelope.
They have fun. 'We can do it!' exclaims Keroppi. Penelope smiles, proud of their progress.
Time for bed. 'Goodnight, Keroppi.' 'Goodnight, Penelope.' They dream of more adventures.
The next day, they plan to explore the woods. 'New words to learn,' Penelope says happily.
