Leonard the lion with a mane so grand, roamed the forest, the king of the land. He roared and he growled with a voice so deep, that even the littlest critters would peep.
One sunny day with skies so blue, Leonard met Freddy, a frog so true. Freddy hopped and bopped, he flipped and flopped, his croaks were as loud as popcorn popped!
Leonard roared, 'Why all the noise?' Freddy laughed, 'It's my joy, oh boy!' They looked at each other and then they knew, an adventure awaited, just for two!
They splashed in streams and chased the beams, of sunlight that lit up their waltz-like dreams. 'Leap with me!' said Freddy with glee, and Leonard jumped - almost hit a tree!
They played until the skies turned pink, and the forest began to softly blink. Fireflies danced and stars did prance, Leonard and Freddy shared a glance.
They found a log to sit and chat, Freddy's jokes made Leonard's sides go flat. The wind would whistle, the leaves would sway, all throughout their merry play.
As night-time crept and the forest slept, Leonard and Freddy, promises kept. 'Friend forever?' asked Freddy so small, 'Always,' said Leonard, standing tall.
Morning came with a big bright yawn, as the new day greeted the dawn. Leonard and Freddy, side by side, ready for new adventures, far and wide.
They followed paths with flowers in bloom, the forest alive, dispelling any gloom. They shared stories, secrets, and dreams, unraveling nature’s seaming seams.
Through thick and thin, high and low, Leonard and Freddy’s bond did grow. Together they roared, they hopped, they sang, a lion and a frog in joy they clang!
In the heart of the wood, they carved a sign, ‘Best Friends Forever: Frog and Lion.' No matter the adventure, come what might, they knew their friendship was just right.
So if you ever hear a croak and a roar, echoing through the forest floor, you'll know it's Leonard and Freddy, so true, forever friends like me and you.
