Once upon a lily pad, in a pond so snug, lived Little Frog, the happiest bug. With a bounce and a croak, hop, hop, he'd go, spreading kindness to all, like a gentle breeze blow.
One day, while basking in the sun's warm light, he heard wise words—oh, so bright. From the monk on the log, came lessons of five, Little Frog listened, feeling alive!
The Five Precepts, the monk did unfold, like treasures of wisdom from tales of old.
"Be kind!" said the monk with a smile and a nod, "Let mercy and love be the tools of your trod."
So, Little Frog leapt to his favorite place, ready to mirror the monk's loving grace.
The pond’s critters watched with looks of surprise, as Little Frog greeted them with wide-open eyes.
Plop! A sound from the water, a stumble, oh dear! But Little Frog helped with no hint of fear.
"No harm, no hurt, just peace in my action," Little Frog whispered with great satisfaction.
A squirrel then danced, with a nut held tight. "Share with me, please!" chanted Little Frog in delight.
With patience and cheer, he lived through the day, full of joy and virtue, come pain or play.
And so, Little Frog became a dear friend, bringing joy to the pond with a kind heart to lend.
In the pond where dreams flutter and sway, Little Frog hopped and sang, hooray, hooray!
