Luna was a little girl with a very BIG dream. She didn't just want to touch the stars, she wanted to taste them! She dreamed of rocketing into space and gobbling up the Milky Way like a chocolate bar.
So Luna built herself a rocket ship. It wasn't just any rocket ship, it was a rocket ship made of licorice and lollipops! It had gumdrop buttons and a chewy caramel control panel.
"Ready for liftoff!" Luna shouted, strapping herself into a seat made of spun sugar. With a GIANT roar and a puff of cotton candy smoke, the rocket blasted off!
Luna zoomed past the moon, which winked at her like a giant marshmallow. She flew past Mars, a swirling red ball of cinnamon candy.
"Onwards, to the Chocolate Comet!" cried Luna, pulling a lever made of gummy worms.
The Chocolate Comet was everything Luna dreamed of! It was a mountain of milk chocolate, sprinkled with sugary stars and drizzled with white chocolate swirls.
Luna landed her rocket with a soft CRUNCH on the comet's surface. She hopped out, grabbed a chunk of chocolate as big as her head, and took a BIG bite. "DELICIOUS!" she shouted, her voice echoing through space.
Next, Luna flew to the Planet of Peppermint Swirls. It was a planet striped red and white, and it smelled like Christmas morning!
She twirled and danced with the gingerbread men who lived there. They sang and played candy cane flutes all day long.
After her sugary adventures, Luna felt a little homesick. She missed her cozy bed and her teddy bear. It was time to go home.
Luna climbed back into her licorice rocket ship. As she flew back to Earth, she took one last look at the candy-filled sky.
She knew she would never forget her amazing trip to space. And she knew that even though Earth didn't have peppermint swirl mountains, it was still the sweetest planet of them all.
Luna drifted off to sleep, dreaming of candy comets and gingerbread friends, a happy smile on her face.
