Wake up, wake up!“ the sun sang softly as it peeked into Luna’s room.

“Good morning, good morning!” Luna chimed as she hopped out of bed like a bunny.

She brushed her teeth, she combed her hair, she wore her favorite dress with the big blue bear.

Luna skipped to school with a bounce and a hop, “I love my school!” she sang; she just couldn’t stop.

In school, she found her friends, Tom and Sue. They played and laughed like kangaroos.

First up was drawing, with colors so bright. Red, blue, and yellow made Luna’s heart light.

Next was reading, with stories galore. Magical tales that made her imagination soar.

Snack time brought apples, and songs sung with glee, “Crunch, munch!” went Luna as happy as can be.

Math time was fun with numbers that rhyme. Making ten has never been so sublime!

Recess came next, with swings and a slide. Luna's laughter echoed far and wide.

When the day ended, Luna felt grand, “What a marvelous Monday!” she declared with a handstand.

Home she skipped with a smile on her face, knowing tomorrow she’d be back in her magical place.
