Maggie the Counting Cow

Maggie the cow loved to eat green grass. She saw 1 blue butterfly. She tried to count it but got mixed up!

Maggie asked her friend, Charlie the Chicken, for help. Charlie said, “I can teach you to count. Let's start with 1 and then 2!”

Maggie practiced her numbers all day. She counted 1 sun, 2 clouds, and 3 apples. She was getting good at it!

At bedtime, Maggie counted sheep jumping over a fence. She counted 1, then 2, then 3... and soon, she fell fast asleep.

The next day, Maggie felt confident. She counted all the flowers in the meadow, then all the farm animals. She was a counting pro!

Maggie’s friends were impressed. They all wanted to learn to count too. Maggie became the teacher, and they all counted together.
