Once upon a time, in a cozy little village, there was a curious little mouse named Milo. He had bright eyes and a tiny pink nose that twitched whenever he smelled something delicious. One day, Milo caught a whiff of the most wonderful smell he had ever known.
The smell led Milo to a warm farmhouse, where a kind-hearted farmer named Jack lived. Farmer Jack loved to make chocolate animals, and his favorite was a chocolate moose. He would carefully pour the sweet, melted chocolate into a moose-shaped mold and wait for it to set.
Milo peeked through the window and saw the chocolate moose. It looked so real that he thought it was a tiny moose made of magic! He wanted to taste it, but he didn't know how to ask. So, he just watched Farmer Jack work, his little mouse heart beating with excitement.
One evening, when the stars began to twinkle, Farmer Jack left the window open. Milo saw his chance! He scurried up the wall, slipped inside, and tiptoed towards the chocolate moose. But just as he reached out to take a nibble, he heard a voice.
'Who's there?' Farmer Jack asked. Milo froze, but he knew he had to answer. 'It's me, Milo. I'm sorry. I just wanted to taste the chocolate moose,' he squeaked. Farmer Jack laughed heartily and picked up Milo, setting him down next to the chocolate moose.
'Well, Milo,' said Farmer Jack, 'if you wanted to taste it, all you had to do was ask.' Jack then broke off a little piece of the chocolate moose antler and gave it to Milo. It was the most delicious thing he had ever tasted!
From that night on, Milo and Farmer Jack became great friends. Milo would help by cleaning up the crumbs, and in return, Jack taught him how to make tiny chocolate mice. Together, they became the best chocolate-making team in the village.
