Pug's Big Heart

In a sunny yard, Pug dug in the dirt. His tail wagged fast.

Pug happily digging in his home's yard, sunny day.

Mia, a cat with a white paw, watched Pug. She felt left out.

Mia watches Pug from afar, feeling excluded.

Ben, a big dog, barked loud at Mia. She ran up a tree.

Ben scares Mia, she escapes up a tree.

Pug saw Mia. He stopped digging. 'Why do you sit in the tree?'

Pug notices Mia, displays concern and curiosity.

Mia meowed, 'Ben scared me. I can't play in the yard like you.'

Mia explains her predicament to Pug.

Pug thought hard. 'We can play here. It is safe.' He smiled wide.

Pug invites Mia to play and reassures her.

Mia climbed down. Ben saw and padded over, ears back, sorry.

Mia descends, and a regretful Ben approaches.

Pug said, 'We can all play. Let's make a game for three!'

Pug suggests an inclusive game.

Ben nodded. 'I can help Mia feel safe here.' Mia purred.

Ben agrees to help and Mia expresses contentment.

They played tag and hide and seek. Laughter and joy filled the air.

The trio plays together happily.

At sunset, three friends sat close. 'This was fun!' said Pug.

The group reflects on their day at dusk.

Mia and Ben agreed. 'Let's play again tomorrow,' Mia meowed softly.

Agreement on future playtimes and friendship.
