Samson's Strength and Betrayal

Long ago in Israel, there was a man named Samson.

Samson had mighty strength given by God. He defeated a lion with his bare hands.

The Philistines, Israel's enemies, wanted to know the secret of Samson's strength. So they asked Delilah.

Delilah asked Samson three times, but he deceived her. He didn't reveal the true secret.

Finally, Samson told his secret. His power came from his long hair, and no razor had ever touched his head.

While Samson was asleep, Delilah cut his hair and called the Philistines. They captured him and blinded his eyes.

Samson became a slave, but his hair grew back. He asked God for strength one last time.

During a big celebration, Samson pushed the pillars of a temple and it collapsed. He killed many Philistines, sacrificing himself.
