But a wicked fairy was angry that she wasn't invited to the celebration. She cursed Aurora, saying that she would prick her finger on a spinning wheel's needle and fall into a deep sleep.

The king and queen tried to protect Aurora by burning all the spinning wheels in the kingdom. But one day, when Aurora was a young lady, she discovered an old spinning wheel in a hidden room.

As she touched the needle, she pricked her finger. She fell into a deep sleep, along with the entire kingdom.

For many years, the kingdom was silent and covered in vines until a prince heard of the Sleeping Beauty and decided to explore the castle.

The prince found Aurora and kissed her gently. Aurora woke up, and with her, the entire kingdom. They lived happily ever after.
