In a town undersea, in a pineapple house, lived Sponge Bob Square Pants, quiet as a mouse. One night so eerie, with a chill in the air, Sponge Bob sensed something, something strange over there.
He tiptoed and trembled, shivered with fear, 'Could it be a ghost? Is a ghost truly near?' With a heart racing fast, he took a peek, Under the bed where it seemed less bleak.
BANG! A noise that went 'Boom!' echoed through the room. Sponge Bob jumped high, as high as the moon! 'Who’s there?’ he shouted, his teeth a-chatter, 'Come out, come out, ghost, and let's have a clatter!'
But no ghost appeared, not a spirit in sight. Just a friendly jellyfish, glowing with light. 'Oh, Jelly,’ said Bob, 'you scared me good, But a ghost you are not, you’re misunderstood.'
The jellyfish sparkled like stars in the night, wagging its tentacles so bright, so light. 'Phew,' sighed Bob, with a laugh so hearty, 'A jellyfish ghost, now that’s a smarty!'
Just as Sponge Bob settled back in his bed, another sound boomed, this one so dread. 'Who’s there now?' he asked with a gulp, His fear returning in a fierce, fast thump.
POW went the door as it opened wide, Sponge Bob hid, he searched for a guide. What did he see but Patrick his friend, Saying, 'Hey Sponge Bob, it’s not the end!'
Patrick was dressed in a ghostly white sheet, Trying to scare Sponge Bob, what a neat feat. 'Ha! Ha!' laughed Sponge Bob, 'You tricked me so, Patrick the ghost, the star of the show!'
They laughed and they played till the moon went down, Shared stories of mysteries all around town. 'No ghosts tonight,’ said Patrick with glee, 'Just friends and fun under the sea!'
So if ever you hear a spooky old sound, Just look all around, friends will be found. A ghost may not be what it seems to be, In the fun-filled city of Bikini Bottom, under the sea!
Good night, dear reader, don't fear the night fright. With friends like Sponge Bob, all will be bright. Sleep tight till the morn, with dreams so light, For ghosts are just shadows that dance out of sight.
'Tis the end of our tale, no spooks left to see, Just the joys of friendship, shining brightly and free. Good night, good night, sleep tight, sleep tight, With Sponge Bob and friends, the world is all right.
