One summer morning, Tessa woke up to a sunny day, her eyes sparkling with excitement. Today she was going to the water park!
After breakfast, Mom said, 'Tessa, grab your swimsuit! It's time to swim and slide!' They packed towels and sunscreen in a bag.
At the park, Tessa saw slides like colorful ribbons. The biggest one twisted up to the sky. She looked at it with wide eyes.
They started at the wave pool. Tessa laughed as waves gently pushed her along. 'It's like the ocean!' she exclaimed.
Next, they went to the kiddie slides. Tessa slid down with a whoosh and splashed into the water, giggling.
Later, Tessa watched as children played in the water jets. She joined them, dancing through the sprays of water.
Tessa then found a lazy river. She and Mom floated in a double tube, bobbing along under bridges and past waterfalls.
After the lazy river, Tessa felt brave. She pointed at the big slide. 'I want to try that one!' she declared.
Climbing the stairs to the slide, Tessa felt her tummy flutter. She took deep breaths, feeling both nervous and excited.
At the top, Tessa sat down and looked down the slide. With a deep breath, she pushed off and down she went!
She zoomed through twists and turns, water splashing all around. She went faster and faster until splash! She landed in the pool.
Tessa emerged with a big smile and bright eyes. 'That was amazing!' she cheered. 'Let's do it again!'
