Once upon a time, in the land of gods and goddesses, lived Lord Vishnu. He was a powerful and kind god who promised to protect the world. But sometimes, when evil grew strong, Vishnu would take different forms, known as avatars, to save the day.

The first avatar was Matsya, a giant fish. He saved a good king and the earth from a dangerous flood.

The second avatar was Kurma, a turtle. He helped the gods and demons churn the ocean to find a magical nectar.

The third avatar was Varaha, a boar. He fought a powerful demon and rescued the earth from being deep under the ocean.

The fourth avatar was Narasimha, a half-lion and half-man. He defeated an evil king and protected a scared boy named Prahlad.

The fifth avatar was Vamana, a dwarf. He tricked a greedy king and helped the gods regain their power.

The sixth avatar was Parashurama, a mighty warrior. He fought and destroyed many cruel kings who were harassing innocent people.

The seventh avatar was Rama, a prince. He rescued his wife Sita from an evil demon king and brought peace to the world.

The eighth and last avatar will be Kalki, a mighty warrior yet to come. He will appear at the end of time to defeat the forces of evil and restore peace and goodness to the world.
