The Eight Avatars of Vishnu

Once upon a time, there was a great god named Vishnu. He loved all creatures and wanted to protect them from evil. So, he decided to take different forms to save the world.

In his first avatar, Vishnu became a giant fish called Matsya. He saved a holy book from a flood and taught a good king about righteousness.

Next, Vishnu became a giant turtle known as Kurma. He helped the gods churn the ocean to get a magical drink of immortality.

Then, Vishnu became a wild boar known as Varaha. He rescued the earth from a demon and brought it back from the depths of the sea.

Vishnu's fourth form was a man-lion called Narasimha. He defeated an evil demon king who could not be killed by men or animals.

Vishnu's fifth avatar was Vamana, a dwarf. He tricked a selfish king by growing huge and asking for only as much land as he could cover in three steps.

In his sixth form, Vishnu became Parashurama, a warrior with an axe. He defended the earth by defeating many evil kings.

Vishnu's seventh avatar was Lord Rama. He saved his wife Sita from a ten-headed demon king with the help of his loyal friend Hanuman.

Finally, in his eighth avatar, Vishnu became Lord Krishna. He guided the Pandavas in the epic battle of Mahabharata and shared wisdom in the scripture called the Bhagavad Gita.

These are the eight brave avatars of Vishnu, who protected the world from evil. They taught us great lessons about duty, righteousness, and love for all creatures.
