In a land not so far, lived a farmer named Lee, With fields full of veggies and one apple tree. One sunny day, while checking his rake, Farmer Lee found a small, shivering snake.
"Oh dear," Farmer Lee said with a start, "This poor little snake has a very cold heart." He picked it up gently, with care and with cheer, And whispered, "Don't worry, there's nothing to fear."
The snake looked up with large, grateful eyes, Hissed out a thank you, much to Lee's surprise. "I owe you a favor," the snake did proclaim, "You’ll never regret it; I'll remember your name."
Days turned to nights and nights into days, Farmer Lee and the snake went on their happy ways. One day in his barn, Lee heard a loud, "Hiss!" And thought to himself, "What could be amiss?"
He followed the sound and what did he see? A fox in the barn, causing chaos, oh me! The snake coiled up and ready to greet, Slithered up quickly, with speed and with heat.
With a flick and a slither, the snake chased away, The fox who then ran with no time to delay. "Oh thank you, dear snake!" Farmer Lee did exclaim, "You've saved my dear farm, and protected my name!"
