The Friendship Garden

Once upon a time, in a splash of houses and parks called Greenwood Town, children met under the big oak tree. They dreamed of a place where they could dig, plant, and watch wonders grow. One sunny day, they decided to create something special together—a Friendship Garden.

Introduction of Greenwood Town and the children's idea under the oak tree.

Mia, with her bright green eyes, came up with the first plan. She drew a big circle in the dirt and divided it like a pie. Each slice would be a garden bed for flowers, veggies, and fruit. 'Let’s make it colorful and yummy,' she cheered, waving her braids in the air.

Next, Alex with hair like the sun and a wheelchair that could spin fast, zoomed around marking spots for the paths. 'We need smooth paths for everyone to come and enjoy,' he giggled, as he raced the laughing children.

Sarah, who often spoke with her hands, signed her excitement. She and her friends began to clear the land. With each weed they pulled and rock they moved, they shared stories and jokes, making their work feel like a treasure hunt.

After preparing the soil, Juan, with brown eyes like chocolate drops, showed everyone how to plant seeds gently. 'Pat them like this,' he said softly, 'as though tucking them into bed.' They all giggled imagining the seeds snoozing beneath the earth.

Gentle boy with brown eyes, teaches about seeds teaches the kids about planting, nurturing touch.

Their garden was a rainbow of blooms and greens, when little Lucy, small for her age but with the biggest of blue eyes, scattered wildflower seeds. 'For the bees and butterflies,' she whispered. 'To say thank you for their hard garden work.'

Small girl, big blue eyes, loves bees and butterflies adds wildflowers for bees and butterflies, gratitude towards nature.

Seasons changed and the Friendship Garden grew. It wasn’t just plants that blossomed, but a bond even stronger than the tallest sunflower. Each child had a place, each plant a purpose, and their smiles were the brightest blooms of all.

Seasons pass, the garden and friendships flourish.
