Once upon a time in a small, cozy village, hidden at the edge of a dark forest, was an old house that everyone believed was filled with ghosts. But these weren't your ordinary ghosts; they were known as the Giggly Ghosts because they loved to play and laugh. Every night, they would come out to play hide and seek in the dark rooms of the house.
Among the Giggly Ghosts was a little one named Glowy. Glowy was the youngest and the most playful of them all. His favorite game was to flicker the lights on and off to make funny shadows on the walls. The other ghosts would laugh and cheer every time Glowy made a new, silly shadow.
One night, they heard something new. A soft giggling that wasn't coming from any of them. Curious, the ghosts glided through the walls to find a little human child, sitting in the middle of the room, playing with a flashlight.
Everyone gasped, a ghostly sound that whistled like the wind. 'Hello!' said the brave little child named Ellie, waving at the ghosts. 'I’ve heard about the Giggly Ghost Gathering and I wanted to play, too!'
Glowy floated closer, and in a blink, he turned the dark room into a disco of light with his glowing touch. The ghosts cheered and danced around Ellie, who laughed and danced along. They played shadow tag, making shapes of animals and telling each other spooky yet funny stories.
As the clock struck midnight, the ghosts remembered that soon the sun would rise and they’d have to rest. They gave Ellie a gentle ghost hug and said, 'You must come back tomorrow night for more fun!'
Ellie promised to return as she was leaving the old house. Every night since then, the little old house echoed with new laughter and the friendship of Ellie and the Giggly Ghosts.
