Once upon a time, there was a man who was traveling from one village to another. On the way, some robbers attacked him, took all his belongings, and left him injured on the side of the road.
Soon, a priest came walking down the road. He saw the injured man but chose to walk on the other side, pretending he didn't notice. A little while later, a Levite passed by and did the same.
Finally, a Samaritan came along. When he saw the man, he felt deep compassion. He went up to him, cleaned his wounds, and bandaged them. Then, he lifted the man up and took him to an inn. The Samaritan even paid the innkeeper to take care of the injured man.
Jesus told this story to teach us about the value of compassion. He wanted everyone to understand that it's important to help those in need, no matter who they are or where they come from. We should always show kindness and empathy towards others.
Activity: Today, let's practice being a Good Samaritan. Find someone in need, like an elderly neighbor or someone who needs help carrying groceries. Offer your assistance and see how it makes them feel. Share your experience with your family or friends.
