Once upon a time, in a tiny town, there lived a kind farmer named Fred. Fred had a faithful goose named Goldie.
Goldie wasn’t just any goose; oh no! Goldie was grand! She had feathers as shiny as the sun and laid golden eggs for fun!
Every morning, Goldie would cluck, ‘Buck! Buck! Buck!’ And lay an egg of purest gold.
Fred would grin and gawk, so amazed at the sight. ‘What a miraculous morning delight!’ he’d say.
One day, a sneaky fox named Felix thought, ‘A goose that lays golden eggs? That’s perfect for me!’
Felix tiptoed, ever so quick, trying to steal the goose with just one slick trick.
But Goldie was clever, with more than just shine. She knew Felix's plan and hatched one of her own in time.
Goldie started to quack, ‘Quack-Quack, Buzz-Buzz!’ and led Felix on a wild goose chase through the fuzz!
Through the meadow and over the hill, they zigzagged and zoomed till Felix stood still.
Goldie had managed to outfox the fox, as clever as can be! Felix slunk away, realizing his defeat, oh poor he!
Fred came running, ever so glad, to see his dear Goldie safe and sound, not a bit sad.
From that day on, they lived happily and bright. Goldie laid golden eggs, and all was just right.
