Once upon a time, in a small village, there lived a young boy named Timmy. Timmy was known for being so greedy that he would never share his toys or treats with anyone. One day, as Timmy was playing in the forest near his house, he discovered a magical tree.
The tree spoke to Timmy in a gentle voice, 'Timmy, I can grant you one wish, but only if you promise to listen and learn from your mistakes.' Timmy's eyes sparkled with excitement as he said, 'I wish for a never-ending supply of candies!'
Suddenly, candies started falling from the branches of the tree, more than Timmy could ever imagine. He jumped with joy and started filling his pockets, his hat, and even his schoolbag. Timmy was so busy collecting candies that he didn't notice a group of his friends standing nearby, looking sad.
One of his friends, Sarah, finally approached Timmy and said, 'Timmy, it's not fair that you have all these candies and we have none. Can't you share with us?' Timmy hesitated for a moment but then replied, 'No, these candies are mine!'
As the days went by, Timmy's friends started avoiding him. They didn't want to be around someone who wouldn't share. Timmy felt lonely and realized his greediness had cost him his friendships. He decided to return to the magical tree and asked for its wisdom.
The tree spoke again, 'Timmy, to mend your friendships, you must learn to listen and share. True happiness comes from giving and making others smile. Take this lesson to heart.' Timmy nodded, understanding the importance of what the tree said.
Timmy went back to his friends and sincerely apologized for his greediness. He offered them the remaining candies and promised never to be greedy again. His friends forgave him and embraced him with open arms. From that day on, Timmy learned the joy of sharing and became a great listener.
