Once upon a time, in a faraway land full of whimsy and wonder, there lived two milkmaids named Tilly and Milly. These two weren't your usual milkmaids; they were as greedy as cats in a fish market!
Tilly and Milly had one aim — to gather more milk than anyone else in the kingdom. They'd wake up at dawn, chant their motto, 'Milk more, milk most, we're the milkiest of the coast!', and set off to their cows.
Every cow moo-ed and moo-ved in rhythm as Milly sang, 'Giddy up, Buttercup, give it a good sup!' And Tilly would join in, 'Moo away, Daisy May, milk's here to stay!'.
The cows loved the songs and produced so much milk their yokes would overflow. Tilly and Milly did a jig and a dance, thinking they had it all.
One day, the milkmaids found an old, creaky barn. 'If we fill it completely, we'll be queens of milk!', they cackled.
So they milked and milked and sang and sang until the cows couldn’t stand. Buttercup groaned, 'Mooove over!', and Daisy May sighed, 'I’m udderly exhausted!'
But the more they milked, the more trouble brewed in the barn. It started with a bubble, then a trickle, then a flood! The barn was filled with milk, and it exploded with a roar, SPLASH!
Tilly and Milly slipped and slid, drowning in their own greed. They laughed and giggled, for the milk tickled like fizzy bubbles in a bath.
The villagers gathered, watching in awe. One elderly cow, the wise Matilda, moo-ed aloud, 'Greed makes a slippery slide. Share and you shall ride!'.
Realizing their folly, the milkmaids decided to share the milk. Every villager took a pail, and the kingdom had a grand milk fest!
From that day on, Tilly and Milly became famous not for their greed but for their generous spirit. The kingdom celebrated with a cheer, 'To Tilly and Milly, the milkmaids dear!'
And they all lived happily ever after, teaching everyone that sharing turned greed into a sweet, milky joy.
