Once upon a time, in a small village, there lived a young boy named Sam. Sam's father had fallen ill, and the family was struggling financially. The boy knew that he had to do something to help. So, every day, despite his young age of 10, Sam took up odd jobs around the village to earn money for his father's treatment.

Sam would wake up early in the morning, before the sun had risen, and set off to look for work. He would help the farmers tend to their fields, deliver groceries for the shopkeeper, and even assist the blacksmith in his forge. Though the work was hard, Sam never complained. He knew that he had to be strong for his father.

One day, while returning home from work, Sam noticed something glittering on the ground. He leaned down and picked it up. It was a shiny gold coin! Sam's heart filled with joy, thinking that this could be the answer to all their problems. That night, he showed the coin to his mother, and they decided to use it for his father's treatment.

Sam decided to go to the village elder and ask for advice. The elder listened to Sam's story and was impressed by his honesty. He told Sam that keeping the gold coin would be wrong, and it was best to donate it to a charity that helped sick people. Sam followed the elder's advice and donated the coin to the charity.

Word about Sam's honesty spread throughout the village. The villagers were touched by his selflessness and decided to help Sam and his family. They organized a fundraiser and collected enough money for his father's treatment. Sam's father soon recovered and was filled with pride for his son.
