In the jungle, the river rushed and frogs croaked. Monkeys swung and barked. An elephant walked and rustled leaves. A lion woke and roared. A lioness woke and meowed.

The lion and lioness looked at each other and shook their heads. The cub woke and meowed. The lion and lioness smiled at the cub and played with leaves. The monkeys watched and laughed.

The elephant walked over and played with them. At the end of the day, the animals said goodbye. The monkeys went back to their trees, the elephant to the river, and the lions and cub to their cave.

In the night, the jungle filled with the sound of rushing river, croaking frogs, barking monkeys, rustling leaves, and roaring lion. The lions and the cub slept peacefully in their cave.
