In a tiny hole, under a big oak tree, lived many busy ants. All except one.
This ant's name was Lazy Leo. Unlike his friends, Leo loved to nap and daydream.
Every day, the ants worked hard. They collected food and built their home, except Leo.
Leo was more interested in the stories the wind whispered and the games the sunlight played.
The other ants warned Leo. "Winter is coming, and we need to be prepared," they said.
Leo chuckled, "There's plenty of time! Why rush when the sun is shining so warmly?"
Soon, the leaves began to fall, and the air grew cold. The ants were ready, but not Leo.
Suddenly, Leo became worried. He had no food stored and his part of the home was weak.
"Please help me!" Leo pleaded with the other ants as the first snowflake fell.
The ants were kind. They shared their food and helped Leo fix his home just in time.
Leo learned a lesson. From that day on, he worked with his friends and played afterwards.
When the next summer came, Leo was the hardest worker. He had learned the value of preparation.
