Casper thought about what the owl said. He realized he didn't have to be scary to make people happy. The next day, Casper threw a big scare-free party for all the kids in the neighborhood. They played games and laughed until their bellies hurt.

From that day on, Casper was known as the friendliest ghost in town. He would watch the bigger ghosts scare people, but instead of joining them, he would hand out friendly hugs and happy giggles.
