In a land of whimsy, in a place so bright, lived a little bunny named Moonlight. Moonlight's fur was soft and white, and he loved playing in gardens, morning, noon, and night.
Moonlight had a friend, a turtle named Tim, who was very slow but sang a beautiful hymn. They played and they giggled, they danced in the sun, every day together was full of fun.
But one day, oh no, something went wrong! Moonlight accidentally broke Tim's gong. The sound that Tim loved, that made him so glad, was shattered and broken. Moonlight felt bad.
Moonlight cried, 'I’m sorry, I truly am!' But Tim was hurt, and he didn’t give a damn. He sulked in his shell and sang no more, Moonlight felt awful, down to his core.
Days went by and Moonlight felt blue, without Tim, life seemed askew. He thought of a plan, oh what could be done? To make Tim smile and have more fun?
Moonlight knew, deep inside, he had to act, not to hide. He gathered his courage, with a new plan, to show Tim kindness, as best as he can.
He made Tim a new gong, shiny and bright, hoping to bring back Tim’s delight. 'I hope you forgive me,' Moonlight said with plea, 'please be my friend again, just you and me.'
Tim peeked out, saw the gong, his heart warmed up, he couldn’t stay strong. Tim smiled and hugged Moonlight tight, 'I forgive you, my friend, let's make things right.’
The garden cheered, flowers bloomed, making up had cleared the gloom. Together they'd sing, they'd dance, and play, Moonlight and Tim, happy every day!
So remember children, when things go wrong, forgiveness can make hearts strong. A little act, a kind word, or two, can bring back joy, to me and you!
