The Magical Whistle
O Apito Mágico
Once upon a time, there was a boy named Michael. He loved to explore the forest near his house. One sunny day, while he was walking, he found a shiny whistle on the ground. He picked it up and gave it a little blow. *Whooosh!* To his surprise, a magical sound came out of the whistle.
Michael was curious, so he blew the whistle again. *Whooosh!* This time, a lion appeared in front of him! The lion had golden fur and friendly eyes. Michael was amazed but also a little scared. The lion came closer and gave him a big lick. Michael realized the whistle could call any animal. Michael ficou curioso e apitou novamente.
The next day, Michael wanted to show his friends the magical whistle. He met Sarah and Lucas at the playground. He told them about the whistle and asked if they wanted to see it in action. They were excited and said yes. Michael blew the whistle *Whooosh!* A monkey appeared, swinging around the trees. Sarah and Lucas laughed and clapped their hands. No dia seguinte, Michael quis mostrar aos amigos o apito mágico. Ele conheceu Sarah e Lucas no parquinho. Michael soprou o apito *Whooosh!* Um macaco apareceu, balançando entre as árvores. Sarah e Lucas riram e bateram palmas.
As Michael continued to use the whistle, he noticed something strange. Every time he called an animal, a loud noise came from the whistle, making it hard for him to hear. It was as if the whistle didn't like being used too much. Michael felt a bit guilty because he didn't like the loud noise. Enquanto Michael continuava a usar o apito, ele percebeu algo estranho.
One day, Michael saw a squirrel gathering acorns. He wanted to call it with the whistle. However, he remembered the loud noise and decided it was not fair to disturb the squirrel. He put the whistle away and watched the squirrel quietly. The squirrel looked up and gave him a little nod, as if thanking him for being considerate.
From that day on, Michael used the whistle only when he really needed it. He realized that being honest with himself and considering others' feelings was important. The magical whistle became a special tool for special moments. And Michael always treasured it.
