In the heart of a sunlit glen, Laruja the witch cackled with joy. Today was Peter's birthday, and it was time for his magical gift.
Surrounded by whispering trees and curious creatures, Laruja presented a colorful cauldron. 'Choose a character for your stories,' she said.
With wide eyes, Peter glanced into the bubbling pot. 'I pick... this one!' Out popped Pinocchio with a growing nose.
Pinocchio danced and lied, making his nose grow. 'This isn't right,' Peter sighed. 'Please, may I try again?'
Laruja nodded, and Peter dipped his hand back in. A growl and a scowl later, the Big Bad Wolf emerged.
The wolf scared the creatures and huffed and puffed. 'Oh no, not you!' Peter frowned, asking for one last chance.
Laruja agreed and with a hopeful heart, Peter picked again. The cauldron shimmered and out hopped Tom Thumb.
Tiny and brave, Tom Thumb smiled up at Peter. 'You're perfect!' Peter beamed, thrilled with his new friend.
As they played, the glen erupted with laughter and fun. Peter finally had the magical birthday he'd wished for.
But the sun began to set, and it was time to leave. 'Climb aboard,' Laruja beckoned to Tom Thumb.
Peter waved goodbye as they flew away on Laruja's broom. 'Happy birthday,' he called out, watching them become specks in the sky.
The creatures of the glen whispered, 'Until next year,' and Peter knew his adventures were just beginning.
