The Miser and His Gold

Once upon a time, there was a man named Mr. Pennywise. He loved his gold more than anything else in the world. He had a big, shiny treasure chest filled with gold coins. Every day, he would count his gold and hide it away in a secret room in his house.

Mr. Pennywise was very greedy and never shared his gold with anyone. He would always say, 'My gold is mine, and no one else can have it!' He didn't realize that sharing and being kind to others could bring him more happiness than all the gold in the world.

One day, a little girl named Lily came to Mr. Pennywise's house. She was very poor and had no toys to play with. She saw Mr. Pennywise counting his gold and asked him, 'Can I have just one gold coin to buy a toy?'

Mr. Pennywise thought for a moment. He realized that he had so much gold, and giving one coin to Lily wouldn't make a big difference to him. So, he smiled and said, 'Yes, you can have one gold coin.'

From that day on, Mr. Pennywise learned the joy of sharing. He started giving away some of his gold to those in need. He discovered that helping others made him feel happier than hoarding all the gold for himself. And he and Lily became good friends forever.
