Once upon a sunny day, a little lamb named Lily was drinking water from a cool stream.
The water glistened under the sun, and Lily felt happy and refreshed with each sip she took.
Suddenly, a shadow loomed overhead. It was Wolf, who looked thirsty and a bit grumpy.
Wolf dipped his face into the stream above where Lily drank, causing ripples to spread.
With a frown, Wolf barked at Lily, 'Why are you muddying the water I'm drinking?'
Lily looked upstream to where Wolf was and replied, 'I am downstream from you. It's not possible for me to muddy your water.'
Wolf paused, confused. He hadn't thought about how the water flowed from him to Lily.
Still, he grumbled again, 'Well, you muddied it last week, then!'
With a gentle smile, Lily said, 'But Wolf, I only arrived in the valley yesterday.'
Wolf's ears drooped as he realized his mistake. He had been hasty in his judgment.
In the end, Wolf apologized to Lily, 'I'm sorry for blaming you. Will you forgive me?'
Lily nodded happily. From that day on, they shared the stream in peace and became good friends.
