Once upon a time in a forest tall and grand, lived an old lion, Leo, who ruled the land. His mane was majestic, but his limbs were weak. Leo found it hard to hunt and speak.
The other animals would frolic and play, but Leo sat quietly, day after day. 'Oh me, oh my,' Leo would sigh, 'I'm tired and old. My roar's just a cry.'
One fine day, a sneaky mouse named Moe, decided to show Leo the way to go. 'Cheer up dear Leo, don't feel so blue, let's play some games, just me and you!'
Moe brought a ball and they started to play, Leo's frown soon began to fade away. Whoosh and thud, the ball did bounce, Leo felt younger with every ounce.
'Roar!' said Leo, with newfound delight. The forest echoed with his mighty might. The trees swayed to the lion's song, the other animals came and danced along.
'You're not so old!' cried out a frog, hopping and clapping on a nearby log. The bunnies and birds joined the cheer, 'Let's play some more, have no fear!'
'Yes,' said Moe with a mischievous grin, 'There's life in Leo, let the fun begin!' They played for hours under the sun, forgetting all worries, having so much fun.
As dusk fell upon the vibrant land, Leo sighed contently, life was grand. 'Thank you, Moe,' Leo softly said, 'Thanks to you, I'm full of zest, not dread.'
Moe winked and smiled with glee. 'You're welcome, Leo, friends we're meant to be. Age is just a number, that's no jest, it's your spirit, that we love best!'
From that day on, there was no gloom, Leo's heart was filled with endless bloom. The old lion found his roar anew, all thanks to a mouse, the tiniest crew.
Animals great and small would say with pride, 'In our forest, love and joy abide.' The old lion felt his heart grow light, playing and laughing from morning to night.
And so, dear reader, remember this song: Age doesn't matter when your spirit is strong. With friends by your side, come rain or shine, everyday life can be truly divine.
