Once upon a time, in a faraway land, there lived a beautiful princess named Aurora. Her parents, the king and queen, invited everyone to her christening. But they forgot to invite an evil fairy named Maleficent, who became very angry.
Maleficent cast a spell on Aurora, saying that on her 16th birthday, she would prick her finger on a spinning wheel and fall into a deep sleep. The good fairy, Merryweather, changed the curse a little. Instead of dying, Aurora would just sleep until true love's kiss woke her up.
To protect Aurora, the king and queen sent her into hiding with three good fairies, Flora, Fauna, and Merryweather. They pretended to be her aunts and named her Briar Rose to keep her safe. Aurora grew up in a small cottage deep in the woods, never knowing she was a princess.
On Aurora's 16th birthday, she met a young prince named Philip in the woods. They instantly fell in love and planned to marry. However, the fairies knew time was running out, so they took Aurora back to the castle. In the castle, they uncovered an old spinning wheel, and despite the fairies' warnings, Aurora pricked her finger.
Aurora fell into a deep sleep, and everyone in the castle fell asleep too. A wall of thorns grew around the castle, hiding it from the world. Many years passed, and the story of sleeping beauty became a legend.
One day, the prince from the woods, now grown up, arrived at the castle. With the help of the fairies, Prince Philip fought through the thorns and reached Aurora's chamber. He kissed her, breaking the spell. Aurora woke up, and everyone else in the castle woke up too.
Aurora and Philip got married, and they lived happily ever after. The fairies, too, found their true loves and celebrated. Maleficent was defeated, and peace was restored in the kingdom. The kingdom rejoiced, and Aurora became a beloved queen.
The end.
