Once upon a time, there were three billy goats named Gruff. There was Little Billy Goat Gruff.
There was Middle Billy Goat Gruff.
And there was Big Billy Goat Gruff.
They lived in a beautiful field with lots of golden yellow flowers.
One day, they wanted to cross a bridge to get to the other side of the field, but under the bridge lived a grumpy troll.
Little Billy Goat Gruff went first, and the troll said, 'Who's that tripping over my bridge?'
Little Billy Goat Gruff replied, 'It's only me, the smallest and least tasty goat. Let me go to the other side.'
The troll was not happy, but he let the little goat go. Middle Billy Goat Gruff went next and had the same conversation with the troll, who let him pass too.
Finally, Big Billy Goat Gruff came to the bridge. The troll shouted, 'Who's that tripping over my bridge?'
Big Billy Goat Gruff confidently replied, 'It is I, the biggest and tastiest goat. I'm going to gobble you up!'
The troll got scared and ran away, never bothering the billy goats again. They happily crossed the bridge and reached the other side.
And from that day on, they played and ate the delicious grass on the other side of the field.
The end.
