In a valley green and low, lived young Sam, a shepherd boy with a sheep named Flo.
Sam sang songs all through the day, ‘Baa, Baa!’ Flo would say.
With a crook in hand, Sam led his sheep, he counted them before he’d sleep.
One fine day, Flo wandered far, chasing after a funny star.
Sam cried, ‘Oh Flo, where did you go?’ He ran fast, oh, what a show!
Through the woods and over the hill, Sam searched with an unbroken will.
He met a rabbit, all dressed in blue, ‘Have you seen my sheep, Flo, who went ‘Baa Baa, Boo’?’
‘I saw a sheep twinkling too, follow the stars, they'll guide you!’
Sam followed stars up to the stream, it all felt like a magical dream.
At the stream, a frog with a hat so bright, ‘Have you seen my sheep in the gentle night?’
‘Yes, yes,’ said Frog with a jump and a hop, ‘I saw her at the mountaintop!’
Sam climbed up the mountain steep, found Flo with the star, sound asleep.
