Once upon a time, in a cozy village surrounded by whispering woods, there was a little boy named Tim. Tim had big green eyes and the curliest hair that bounced when he laughed. Every night, Tim looked out at the woods, and wished he could explore them, but he was scared.
Tim's grandma noticed this and handed him a crinkly old map, 'This,' she whispered, 'is the map to the Treasure of Bravery. It will show you the way, but only if you're brave enough to follow it.'
The next morning, Tim woke up with the sun tickling his face. He grabbed the map, took a deep breath, and as his heart danced a little jig of nerves and excitement, he whispered, 'I can do it,' and stepped into the woods.
In the woods, the trees seemed to giggle and the bushes seemed to cheer. Tim met a squirrel with sparkly blue eyes who said, 'Follow the wiggly worms, they'll show you the way!'
Tim followed the squirmy trail of worms and found himself in front of a grumpy old tree. It had a face and mumbled, 'Only those who are not afraid can pass.' Tim gulped and said, 'I am not afraid,' and the tree smiled, letting him pass.
Beyond the tree, there was a sparkling river that sang old songs. Tim needed to cross it but there was no bridge. Then he saw some stepping stones that appeared with his every brave step!
At the end of the river, Tim found a box full of golden light. As he opened it, he realized the true treasure was the bravery he found inside himself. He wasn't afraid anymore.
